Environmental Responsibility

FANUC Europe combines performance and sustainability, ISO-certified, EcoVadis Platinum-rated, and committed to energy efficiency, compliance, and circularity.

Climate Change

FANUC has set ambitious global climate goals, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050 and significant reductions by 2030 (-42% for Scope 1 & 2 and -12.3% for Scope 3 compared to 2020). These Science Based Targets (SBT) guide initiatives such as transitioning to renewable electricity and improving product energy efficiency.

While these strategies are defined by our headquarters in Japan, FANUC Europe actively supports their implementation across the region, ensuring alignment with European regulations and customer expectations.

Quality, Environmental & Regulatory Compliance

At FANUC Europe, quality and environmental responsibility are embedded in our management approach. Our subsidiaries are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified, reflecting our commitment to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and environmental performance. In addition, FANUC UK Ltd is certified to ISO 45001, demonstrating its commitment to occupational health and safety management.

ISO 9001 certification underlines our structured quality management system, while ISO 14001 demonstrates our efforts to reduce our environmental impact and promote responsible resource management. ISO 45001 further reinforces our focus on providing a safe and healthy working environment.

In addition, FANUC Europe ensures compliance with key EU product regulations, including REACH and RoHS. We proactively inform customers about Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) and work closely with suppliers to ensure material compliance across our value chain.
